Club Pooch’s Basic Dog Obedience Training is anything but basic.

Whether you and your dog are just starting out, brushing up on manners, or addressing certain problem areas, Club Pooch offers a comprehensive 3-week dog training course designed to reinforce obedience, focus, restraint, socialization, and more for your pet. If you are looking for the best dog training near you, Club Pooch is the place to be. 

Basic Obedience

Course objectives include:

  • Sit, lay down, and stay.
  • Staying in “place” when directed.
  • Overall manners and polite behavior
  • Loose leash walking
  • Heel and auto sit
  • Recall/ Come when called
  • Introducing and managing reactions to distractions on and off-leash

Can your dog show us they have mastered Basic obedience and are ready to graduate into our Advanced Obedience Classes?

Advanced and Advanced Off-Leash Training (including custom-tailored human and animal distractions) are also available as in-board or day training options.

Training Options to Fit Your Life

Club Pooch offers two distinct packages – Day Training and In-Board Training to fit your lifestyle, schedule, and unique needs. Whether your dog visits us to train during daycare hours or enrolls in training as part of an extended overnight stay, your dog will be privy to optimal care and attention.

Day Training

Our Day Training Program includes:

  • 3 weeks of dog daycare (5 days, Monday through Friday).
  • Daily private dog training sessions for your dog with Club Pooch’s in-house trainer (15 total sessions).
  • A culminating private dog training session for you and your dog with Club Pooch’s trainer at the end of each week (3 full sessions).
In Board Training
  • 2 full weeks of dog daycare with overnight dog boarding.
  • Private dog training sessions for your dog during their daycare day with Club Pooch’s in-house trainer (Monday-Saturday, a total of 12 training sessions).
  • A culminating private dog training session for you and your dog with Club Pooch’s trainer at the end of your dog’s stay with us.
Puppies Can Be Pupils, Too!

Club Pooch helps you help your puppy get started on the right paw.
In addition to introductory lessons on “sit,” “lay down,” and coming when called, our puppy training program offers:

  • An introduction to leash manners and managing distractions.
  • Socialization with dogs and unfamiliar handlers.
  • Reinforcement of house training and maintaining potty schedules.
  • Introduction to the “drop it” command.

Drop-off and Pick-up Hours 

Monday – Friday

  • 7:30-9:30am
  • 2:00 – 6:00pm
*Pick-up ends promptly at 6pm – Dogs not picked up by 6pm will be automatically rolled into boarding and charged an overnight fee*


Weekends and Holidays

  • 10:00-11:00am (or)
  • 4:00-5:00pm
*Please note – Additional charges may apply for afternoon pick-up*
